The Ore Mountains have a long tradition of hops cultivation and brewing. That tradition is linked to the discovery of silver here over 800 years ago, and dates back to the time when the Ore Mountains were settled. Over the years, a successful beer-brewing tradition has developed that still exists today.
The 17 stops on the Beer Trail bring the old brewing tradition to life, and of course there is always something to sample.
Visit at least 10 of the participating Czech and German breweries and get a stamp from each to confirm your visit. Once you have collected 10 stamps, present your card in one of the participating breweries to receive a special Ore Mountains Beer Trail beer mug.
