Guided snowshoe tour on the Erzgebirge ridge
Once the paradise for smugglers and cross-border commuters, the untouched border region of the Saxon-Bohemian Ore Mountains today offers ideal opportunities for snowshoe tours in a unique natural landscape.
First we hike through the snowy winter forest to the historic Dreiländerstein. After a short rest, you go out to the expanse of the plateau on the Erzgebirge ridge, where everyone can look for "their" own tour over the wide snow-covered area. The wind whistles quite a bit here at altitude - but that is also part of a proper snowshoe hike.
The tour is designed for beginners, but can also be supplemented with demanding sections if required. For newcomers to snowshoeing, there is plenty of practical information for snowshoeing in the varied terrain.

Winter hiking clothing (best according to the "onion principle"), hat and gloves as well as firm, warm, waterproof winter shoes are required.Small daily backpack for drinks, snacks and personal items if required.
